Hundreds of yachts or small ships from 19 countries will gather in the area Bina Ria Beach tourist area of Lovina, Buleleng Regency, Bali, September 22 to 25 for Sail Indonesia 2010.
Head of Culture and Tourism of Buleleng, Putu Wijaya Tastra, states, until recently some countries have expressed certainty participate in this event.
Countries that have confirmed attendance include Norway, Argentina, Italy, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands, the United States, New Zealand, Australia, France, Austria, Sweden, and Germany.
"This activity aims to promote tourism in Bali, especially the tourism potential of Buleleng," Wijaya said in Singaraja (16/09/2010).
"Sail Indonesia is an annual screen rally activities. These activities lasted for three months to promote Indonesia as a maritime tourism destination," added Wijaya.
All participants then released on July 24 in Darwin, Australia. The participants then crossed the waters of Australia into Asia.
